KRAV MAGA

The classes this week so far covered some ground fighting and stand up. We looked at take downs and defences against common attacks. I was trying to stress this week that simplicity is the key. We don't need millions of techniques we need solid foundational movements that can transfer into a lot of different scenarios. Its the same with our exercises. A few movements can go a long way as long as you can work out what they are good for. Take your functional strength training and be able to use it everyday. Ive been training a boxer the last few weeks. I've added in some thai kicks, elbows and some close quarter defences. Now he is more than capable of coming out on top in a self defence situation as he has solid strong fundamentals. How many TECHNIQUES does a boxer learn. Train like a boxer, think like a boxer but be more than a boxer. Marcus
