TUESDAY CLASSES

All the classes were bursting at the seams this evening. Kettlebells concentrated on a circuit style class with all manner of kit being utilised from the gym floor. Kickboxing focussed on plyometrics and conditioning as well as developing long and medium range tools. In Krav Maga we worked some ideas for protecting our space and dealing with positions of intimidation. We looked at bullet proof responses that work every time. None of this releasing the opponents hand from our clothing. Remember a technique needs to be drilled over 3000 times before its a natural reaction. Then factor in fear, adrenaline and alcohol. Practice your verbal de-escalation and your tool and target development. I can practice 3000 strikes quicker than I can practice A RELEASE to a clothing grab. Keep it simple! Marcus
