TACTICAL EDGE EDINBURGH

Tonight we looked at the snap cut and worked various drills to enhance this. I explained to the guys that if we picked up a common object that was heavy and used it to strike you could easily kill someone. However, take that item and use the snap cut motion and it's all over quickly but without the body at your feet. Remember, if you get in an altercation you have to do what it takes to survive but you cannot be excessive or cruel. You also have to remember the force ladder and repercussions not only with the legal system but friends of the attacker. It's all to easy to talk about causing someone great harm but the more you train the more you understand how easy it for you to cause harm to someone due to your training. You want to avoid confrontations at all costs because you realise that if it does escalate to violence then you could really do some damage. Always think and get rid of the egos.
