Kettlebell Training

If you want to get in shape fast then you need to be getting some kettlebell training in. Now I love kettlebells, but I don't think they are the only thing you should ever train. However, if you work hard with them you get results and you get them fast. They are great training for the guys training in martial arts as you have the hip drive and breath control required in all the striking arts. They are tough and you learn to develop your mental strength.

There is a weekly class at the gym and there will also be an upcoming workshop in the next month if you are unsure and want to go over the core lifts.  I like to keep the training with them simple, capitalising on the main movements which yield the best results. Add in some kettlebell training to your current gym or bodyweight programme and you will be amazed at the differences. We've had kettlebells since before they were sexy, probably about six years now and I've had the chance to work with people from all the over the globe who are the big names. There are a lot of different methods for essentially the same exercises some of which that just look dangerous. At the gym we keep everything safe and the execution mirrors our combative training.
