LAST NIGHT AT KRAV MAGA EDINBURGH

We looked at developing hammer strikes on the pads and then looked at alternative targets on the body to delivers these strikes. Namely the arms and then using a knife hand strike to the neck. The idea behind it was to weaken the limb once we had control of it from a circular attack.

From there we looked further at the knife threats and how we could use the wall to effect a disarm our throw the attacker into it. We learned how to defend various knife treats on the ground looking at controls and counters off of this.

A few people in the class were suffering with lower back pain so I was sticking them on the inversion table. It's fun and a great way to open up the vertebrae. Sometimes its good just to hang from one of the chin bars at the end of a session although the table is far more effective.
