We looked at some of the core take downs and how we can used edged weapons or impact weapons to enhance them. We looked at the heaven six series and some training that can be done in your own time. It was a great bunch of practitioners last night who I said knew all there was to know. All I was going to do was provide them with ideas on how to train and correct any mistakes that I could see. The emphasis was on them picking things apart and extracting the information and using it rather than spoon feeding combative sets one after another. Obviously, this isn't the approach you would use with a beginner but these were all experienced practitioners. Every one of these guys could be out teaching!
