KRAV MAGA EDINBURGH

Last night Jon Keast started the guys off with some pad work. From there we looked at various methods for delivering power knees from the clinch. Again, this was more a drill as in reality a sharp knee to the groin provides a great break in rythm and most of the time will disable an attacker. We then looked at getting into the clinch position and various ways to control and opponent. From there we looked at close range strikes and then disengagements. There was a lot of material covered last night so if I missed some stuff out forgive me. Everyone was looking sharp and comfortable fighting at a range most can't. Remember we are dealing with self defence and not sport so our clinch work is different.
