On Tuesday night we trained outside. We worked on the pads with a combination that took us from kicking range, to punching, to knee and elbow range. We then reversed it and went all the way back out to kicking range. After this we looked at ways to deal with grabs. We looked at common holds and how this is likely to occur. Guys only grab guys in certain ways so some of the standard KM escapes are really irrelevant. We went with the most common ones for the guys and the same for the girls. Sexist? No just sensible and not teaching people things they are unlikely to need. Great effort by all.
