MONDAY AT TACTICAL EDGE EDINBURGH

On Monday after a challenging bodyweight warm up we trained outside concentrating on hubud, elbow hubud and longer range hubud with cut parrys. We practised blending them together. It was a good class and everyone came on really well. I explained that when fighting at close range you are sensing the opponenets energy more than seeing with your eyes as strikes are too fast. It's not just arms you sense but the forward pressure from his body, so you can break away when you feel that if necessary. These drills are ideal for developing this skill. I will try and post up a clip in the next week of what we did.
