KRAV MAGA ON TUESDAY

We trained outside dealing with knife threats and pre-emptive strikes. We used the environment to help us by slamming people into walls etc. There was a KM student training with us who was visiting from Brazil. He travels all over and always likes to train. He told me after the class that a lot of the KM he has trained focusses on games and not the actual combat. He really how we just looked at the principle and got stuck into it without these drills. I like the games he is referrring to but sometimes they are used too much and too make people think it's like being back at school when the real reason you are there is to learn to stay safe. He also liked that we didn't wear uniforms. I said as long as you wear a club t-shirt I am happy. Everyone trained really hard that evening as they always do.
