KRAV MAGA ON TUESDAY

After a solid warm up we went on to pad work to develop our combatives. We looked at defending a straight attack. I wasn't that concerned with what the actual attack was, just that it came straight towards us. I stressed that if something kicks off quickly, in not a perfectly lit area then it's going to be difficult to see if there is something in the attackers hand and whether it's an edged or impact weapon. So just use the general motion and work from there. Mark Davies from Tactical Edge always says assume there is a weapon there until you know for sure, that way you are not surprised. Great advice.
