We started the class with a bodyweight drill designed to get the legs pumping. From there we concentrated on our front kick and looked at the various striking areas. We looked at the round kick and worked these in an repeater drill. We also looked at the front kick in a more medium range striking with the shin and whipping the leg up straight to cut someone in half. We then went on to look at how we enter with the low front kick and follow up hand techniques. We did this against an advancing opponent and also when we are trying to enter and pre-empt. we then looked at various self defence situations and how we could use what had trained earlier.
