Please read and respond.
All clubs throughout the world enforce a uniform upon their students from the day they sign up to train with them. There are many reasons why they do this notably to generate cash as it is there full time employment.
All the money genrated by Krav Maga Edinburgh is ploughed back into the club to fund paying for Kettlebells, pads and all other training equipment that we provide.
From the end of February we will be enforcing that all students who wish to train at the club MUST purchase a club t-shirt and wear this to ALL classes. Club T-Shirts are reasonably priced at £10.
To grade one of the requirement's is that you MUST have a club T-shirt. We are not wanting to discriminate against anyone who has any reasonable reasons why they can not purchase a T-Shirt so please come and speak to Marcus or Lee if you have any problems on this.

I've already got one, but I think it's a great idea. Instills a sense of pride and if it helps pay for more equipment then I'm all for it.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Have some pride in your club! No more hippies with 'I love The Hoff' t-shirts.
ReplyDeletethis just the new T shirts or inc. the 'original' Krav maga Edinurgh ones?
ReplyDeleteAs we are no longer members of the IKMF it is sensible that we start to faze the old style t shirts out.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments.

This is on a different note, but I am getting a bit pissed off that stuff keeps getting stolen from our club. If you are asked to make sure that the cupboard door is locked, please do so and don't just say that it is. Kettlebells are not cheap and it is a priviledge to have them available at our club.
ReplyDeleteI fully agree. Since we all belong to a club training in specific system, uniform dress code would be only natural thing to think of.
ReplyDeleteIKMF is dead! LONG LIVE COMBAT READY!!
ReplyDeleteWhat about other merchandise?
Shorts, hoodies, rash guards etc.
Any money that gets ploughed back into the club is a great idea, also as the guys have mentioned it breeds a sense of pride.
