Tonight's class

Pads were lifted, shoes were worm and back to basics it was!

Straight into some palm heel, elbows and hammer strikes. Lets get the basics right and then we can focus on the more advanced drills. We then got into groups of three and started with the protect your partner drill. This helps the less experienced students get used to a little aggression and scanning the area.

From here Marcus introduced multiple attacks and how to defend against this. A great tip is to use one of the attackers as a shield! We went into variances of this drill and then focusing on turning the attacker and taking them down.

All in all, a great class and as Marcus said tonight. Everyone did really well including the 2 new guys that showed up for class tonight.

Remember, Sundays fitness class is on at 5pm!
