Monday 21st july at Krav Maga Edinburgh

Rannoch started the proceedings off with his regular
Combat Ready class. Looked like it was a good one. These classes are an essential part of any ones training regime. Whether you take it serious or not come along and get a feel for the class. If you have any questions regarding the class then please get in contact with Rannoch.

We got into our own intensive warm up which focused on total body strength. Working all the major muscle groups.
Marcus kicked off the class with a little pad work. Basic combinations which moved into more technical finishing moves. Once the class got the hang of this we moved into some knife drills.
We discussed common objects, what these are and how we would use them in a sustained attack. We put the theory into practice with some good results by all.

Over the next few weeks we are going to focus on common knife attacks and how to defend against these. I think you will all agree this is a very topical subject and we should all be attending.
Please visit Tactical Edge and read some of the Instructors Articles that Mark Davies has posted. A great fountain of Knowledge when it comes to all things concerning close combat and personal protection.
Marks next seminar is on 6th September which will be dealing with unarmed attacks and also edged weapons attack.
