Class 8th August@Krav Maga Edinburgh

OK, so how did everyone find that one?
There was third party protection. This could be a family member, friend or partner. The most important thing is that you stop the attack and create a barrier between you the attacker and the person that you are defending. Then scan and get the both of you out of the area!!
360 defence, Knife defence and then there was the fitness test. How did you find that one then? 100 push ups, 200 squats and 300 sit ups. After my week at the summer camp it all fell into place for me and my team won.

Just on the back of what Marcus said. It would aid every ones training if you guys bought some sparring gloves for training. It will aid your training doing a little light sparring!

That was good - it's good to think about these little things that are important but that might not be instinctively obvious - like placing yourself directly between an attacker and the person you're defending. Really obvious when you think about it, but not if you don't take the time to break it down like that.

  2. Really enjoyed that class but my body was sore after the fitness, think im needin to give up the cigs

  3. Last weeks cless was good, enjoyed the 3rd party stuff.

    The fitness bit at the end was interesting, I just felt sorry for my partner as I'm rubbish at push ups and he ended up doing most of them.
