THURSDAY NIGHT @ KRAV MAGA EDINBURGH
Lee took the guys outside for the warm up and put them through their paces. Then back inside we concentrated the session on kicking. We worked on the heavy bags and the kick shields. To finish off we did some light fighting starting at long range with only the legs and then using any of our striking tools. Like Mark Davies always says, if you can deliver a powerful high kick in class, think how much more powerful your low kick will be in the street. Again, we don't look to be doing high kicks in class all the time, it's developmental but it's a good skill. If you are perhaps older or injured and you have a mobility issue then we simply work low line kicks. Great effort by all.
