TUESDAY AT KRAV MAGA EDINBURGH

Last night we had a good old fashioned kettlebell warm up with some bodyweight drills thrown in. Thank you to Chris for coaching the newbees on the swing. We dealt with outside attacks both unarmed and with the knife and we looked at a knife threat on the ground and how we could use the principle for if we were standing up or in a variety of other positions. We just have to follow the simple rules. Rannoch took the Combat Sport class and had the guys working on uppercuts and footwork and having fun with some knee and kicking drills. The intermediate Krav Maga class focussed on slow fighting, ending with everyone on there knees fighting agaisnt each other. I threw in a few weapons to spice things up. A fantastic effort and everyone looked sharp as a tac last night.
