Krav Maga Edinburgh

Rannoch couldn't make the Combat Ready class so I stepped up to the mark and hopefully delivered a class that suited all.
When I broke the news that Rannoch wasn't going to make it and I was taking the class, I did hear the words "oh, I'm going to be sore tomorrow". Hopefully I didn't let you down!
We deviated from the norm and I introduced a few more pad drills that hopefully the guys benefited from.

Krav Maga class then went back to basics and we concentrated on some combatives with the pads. Again, all the new guys did a great job. Well done!
We then went into some chokes from the front against the wall. Common occurrence in the public houses around the world.
Then the fun began. Up stairs and attacks whilst sitting down. This could be at work, in a pub or even on the bus. It comes in all shapes and sizes these days. Defence, attack and then get out of the area was the focus on this part of the class.
As a finisher we then moved into some light wrestling for the last few minutes.

Keep an eye out on the site for some changes to class times. We are introducing "Fight Night" on a Monday. Its not compulsory but its tough.

  1. You're right, I hurt!
    Time for a hot bath.

  2. Oh man! I can't wait to start learning defenses for when I'm sitting... what level of Krav Maga is that??

  3. P'd off I missed staircase attacks!!! Vital for the Candy Bar. Please do again sometime.

BTW I didn't reward myself with a week off after the grading. I'm ill.
