Well worth the £25.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5577140244349032323.post-2760244887534781572007-09-04T00:08:00.000+01:002007-09-04T00:08:00.000+01:00I found the seminar very interesting, practical, a...I found the seminar very interesting, practical, and can see myself using what was learned both in training and in the real world.<BR/>I noted it wasn't presented as a restrictive 'here's how this is done' but as 'here's how this _can_ be done' way.<BR/>For me particularly the best bits in the seminar were real-world examples and explanations of how people tend to react, and the physiological changes that occur in the body when people are on the pointy end of threatening situations. I'd say these were very useful in mental preparation, should we become embroiled in a threatening situation and also for when we encounter it happening to others. <BR/>I can see how an understanding of how the mind and body reacts under threat could mean that when under real threat we're mainly fighting the attacker, not equally the attacker _&_ the shock of how our perceptions and body are no longer operating the way they normally do both in training and in day-to-day life.Menzieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13993165443853493296noreply@blogger.com
